Exploring Bogor Botanical Garden
Bored with malls and cafe, me and Jeff decided to get some fresh air by going to Bogor Botanical Garden.
Located only 60 kilometers from Jakarta, you’ll only need an hour to reach Bogor by train. Simply took the 02 microlet which are available in front of the train station and you’ll reached the Bogor Botanical Garden in few minutes. It’s just very easy.
I’m quite amazed with the entrance gate, it looks very artictic as you can see below. There’s even a nice statue on the building.
We need to pay IDR 9.500 for the entrance fee and be ready to explore millions of natural species on approximately 80 hectares area.
There are many interesting sites and places that you can explore which surely impossible to finish in one day eventhough the garden is open from 8 am to 5 pm. That’s why we need to choose which sites that interested you most.
Too bad at that time the Bogor Palace was not open for public. I really want to see the deers lived around the palace. Well, at least I can still take a picture in front of it 
As we walked between the big trees, we can enjoy the fresh air and hear lots of singing bird. Such a lovely place for Jakarta citizen like us.
Another interesting site in Bogor Botanical Gardes is the Zoologi Museum. It’s free of charge and in this museum, you can find millions of animal species in diorama and also the skeleton of a blue whale for 25,24 metre. Wow ….
Imagine sipping a cup of cappucino between the green green grass and tree …. Well, just go to Cafe Dedaunan and you will experienced a perfect afternoon break. The cafe is not only serving coffee and snacks, but also lots of meals menu.
It was a nice experience exploring the garden and we have planned to go there again to explore more sites and places that we haven’t gone through.

ke open space seperti kebun raya bogor emang seru banget. so natural. mau ngapain ajah bisa. mau lari2an, mau duduk2 doang, mau poto2 doang. pokoknya seru deh. kapan ke sana lagih? xixixi
