FreSh! March 2009 – Mobile Creativity
Dengan topik Mobile Creativity, kali ini FreSh membahas tentang pengaruh dan perkembangan industri mobile di Indonesia.
Berlokasi di MAZEE, FX Lifestyle X’nter – Lt.6, terdapat empat narasumber yang hadir, tetapi sayangnya aku hanya bisa merekap 3 presentasi terakhir :

- CONNECT means you can connected to your contact anytime
- DISCOVER means you can easily find anything that you want to know
- Yahoo Kopi Darat : sharing about Yahoo Products, competition of developers in Indonesia, and the opportunity to maximize the local talent
Third Presentation : Creativity in The Mobile Industry
- Indonesia is obsessed in Mobile
- The price in SMS and phone is getting cheaper
- Cellphone Operator : 90% revenue from voice and SMS
- Opera Mini user in Indonesia is #2 world-wide
- Shift to mobile internet will be happened soon
- Opportunity in Indonesian is tough but possible
- The example of the oppurtunities : SMS Premium, Advertising Product/ Event, or any other Mobile Media
Fourth Presentation : What is Koprol?
- Koprol is a Location-based communication tool
- Koprol’s New Mobile version has just launched today (03/19)
- Koprol’s Inspiration came from :
1. Local social sites
2. Tech gatherings (ex: FreSh)
3. How people used the social media (FB, Plurk, Twitter, etc)
4. Rise of smartphone - Koprol’s Current Features: Commenting, Search Places, Maps
- Technical Side : Using Ruby on Rails and Ajax (Jquery)
- Upcoming Features : Privacy, User suggested places, Native Apps (BB, iPhone)
- Koprol’s Monetization :
1. Location-targeted advertising
2. Not just restaurants, any kind of shops …
3. Credit card promotions
4. Mall guide …
5. Premium listing, Premium user accounts
6. Contextual Advertising, Respect users - So, Koprol is : Hyperlocal, Consumers, Platform Independent, and one of you

Conclusions :
The future trend is Mobile Internet, Indonesia is ready, the Opportunity is possible, and our resources are ready

kalau koneksi termasuk resource gak ? sayang aja penambahan konsumen tidak dibarengi dengan kecepatan akses hehehehe
menurut saya belum bisa tuh dit … resource kita masih kelimpungan
